Fluelen is a village on the shore of Lake Lucerne surrounded by snow capped mountains. We enjoyed strolling around the shore and around town. Everywhere we turned was another postcard. There were sheep & cattle on the hill behind the hotel. We could hear their bells everywhere we went. Across the street was a marina with fishing boats and a ferry to Lucerne. It does not get much better than this.
